CloudStorm format colocated at Cloud Expo New York provides free show access!
5 minute rapid fire presentations and panel debate aims to give end users and channel partners an insight into the growing range of cloud products, services and initiatives
London, England - March 10, 2010 - CloudStorm, a cloud computing event has announced that its next events will be in London, Köln, Antwerp, New York, Düsseldorf and Amsterdam.
At the show in New York, CloudStorm will be colocated at the Cloud Computing Expo New York April 19th-21st in the Javits Convention Center, New York City.
The not-for-profit event, funded equally by its participants, provides a showcase of cloud computing solutions covering a wide range of areas including application development and deployment, infrastructure, storage, BPM and SAAS from leading European technology vendors.
Participants, who have just 5 minutes each to present their cloud based offering to the audience, offer a mix of vision, technology and snapshots of actual Cloud Computing solutions. The presentations are followed by a panel debate with a question and answer session ahead of a mini expo and networking party allowing all participants to interact on a one-to-one basis over light drinks and refreshments.
Event organiser, Arvid Fossen from A-server explains the new format, "We took a lot of feedback from both presenters and guests from previous CloudStorm's in London, Paris and Brussels and the consensus was that we needed to stick to high level messages and avoid going into too much technical detail on stage and leave these types of discussions for the expo."
"Over the last few events, we have had over a thousand attendees in total and it's a great way to help build a real community of people interested in both delivering and using cloud services in a environment where both individuals can share and exchange ideas." Fossen adds.
Attendance to CloudStorm is entirely free but places are limited with complimentary tickets available from the www.CloudStorm.org website on a first come, first served basis. With each CloudStorm registration, CloudStorm provides you a full 3 day Gold pass to the Cloud Computing Expo show floor!
CloudStorm has further events planned for later in 2010 in Stockholm, Texas and Silicon Valley.
